22 September 2010 Carol King We open our season of meetings with our own member Carol King. Carol is a former contributing editor at House & Garden and is a freelance garden and lifestyle writer. Her work has appeared in Traditional Home and The New York Times, as well as many local publications. She writes a twice a week garden blog for The New London Day. Carol is a Master Landscape Design Consultant and is the past chair of the Landscape Design Council of Connecticut. She is a member of The Middletown Garden Club, The Connecticut Unit of the Herb Society of America and is a Master Gardener. Carol was voted one of People, Places and Plants™ top ten New England garden writers. Carol lives and gardens with her husband, Rosarian and Rhododendron guy, Ted Platt, in Wallingford, Connecticut.
