| 26 January 2011 - Bruce McCue We will begin the new year with a presentation by someone who shouldn’t have any difficulty getting to our meeting due to weather. Bruce McCue of McCue Gardens in Wethersfield, Connecticut is our near neighbor. His house and growing area is just down the street. He has been growing woodland and meadow Wildflowers for more than forty years and is a source for them in some nurseries. Bruce's talk will be entitled: "Woodland and Meadow Natives, Myths and Fallacies". Meadows are not as simple as throwing a bunch of seed on the ground and sitting back while the flowers grow. He will be sharing his tips for success with natives and insights for using them in the garden to suit your conditions |
